Thanks to Lifelock, you can get the protection you need at a price you can afford. Though the ultimate plan is quite expensive, it includes monitoring of sex offender registries and crimes committed by those who used your name and/or social security number. It also gives you free credit reports each year and notices when a site you used suffers from a data breach.

One of the top reasons to choose Lifelock is because of the account dashboard it provides when you become a new member. This dashboard lets you view all the information and resources that are available and allows you to contact the credit reporting bureaus at the first sign of a problem. You can even use this feature to file a claim if someone steals your identity. The only real issue with Lifelock is that it comes with a Norton Security option that isn’t very useful.

As Lifelock offers several packages and levels of support, your cost relies heavily on which one you select. The standard plan is the most basic and affordable of those plans. It provides you with up to $25,000 in reimbursement if anyone steals your identity and costs $9.99 a month. The advantage plan provides up to $100,000 in reimbursement coverage and sells for $19.99 a month. With the ultimate plan, you’ll pay $29.99 a month and get up to one million in reimbursement coverage.

It’s worth noting that these prices only apply to the first year that you spend as a member. Lifelock will automatically renew your plan at the end of the year and charge a new rate that adds $5 to your monthly cost. If you purchase an annual plan and pay upfront, you’ll get a significant discount. Lifelock also offers junior and senior plans for children and the elderly.

Customer Service and Support

Lifelock has a useful website with a series of questions asked by customers such as yourself and responses to those questions. You can use the FAQ section to find answers to almost any question. If you cannot find the answer you need, feel free to use the customer support line. Reps are available 24-hours a day and all seven days of the week.

Lifelock has a strong reputation and one that it deserved. It offers between $25,000 and $1 million in reimbursement coverage based on the plan you choose and can monitor your online activity to keep you safe. With three plans to choose from, you can easily find one that is right for you or your family.
